The legend from Aberdeen never dies. Oval sunglasses, a filthy cardigan, a cassette and Day of the Dead marigolds: the skull of the soul of grunge, the one who changed rock for good — and there's no need to say the name.
Part of Calaveras del Rock, the collection for the legends who aren't here any more: as in Coco, nobody is gone while somebody still remembers them.
The garment
It is a Gildan 64000 Softstyle, the tee that takes digital printing better than any other: fine cotton, smooth surface, full colours.
- 100% preshrunk ring-spun cotton, 4.5 oz, about 150 g/m²: light in summer, not see-through.
- Unisex semi-fitted cut with side seams: it follows the body instead of hanging like a tube.
- Seamless 2.2 cm ribbed collar, with tape across neck and shoulders: that is what holds the shape after twenty washes.
- Double-needle hems on sleeves and bottom, quarter-turned fabric so there is no centre crease.
- Tear-away label: if it bothers you, it comes off in one pull and leaves nothing to scratch at.
- Four colours: white, black, charcoal, sand. Sizes S to 3XL.
Which size to pick
Just above there is the “Which size am I?” box: give us your height and weight and we name the size, or measure your best-fitting t-shirt from armpit seam to armpit seam and compare it with the table. Chest measured flat runs from 46 cm on the S to 71 cm on the 3XL, length from 71 to 85 cm.
It really is light: an M weighs 138 grams, a 2XL 200.
The print
We print on demand, one at a time, directly onto the fabric (DTG): the ink sinks into the fibres instead of sitting on top like a plastic patch. You still feel cotton where the artwork is, and the shirt breathes. No warehouse full of unsold sizes: yours is made when you order it.
How to wash it so it lasts
- Inside out, at 30°C, with similar colours.
- No bleach, and no fabric softener on the print.
- No tumble dryer: dry it in the shade, still inside out.
- Iron inside out, never on the artwork. No dry cleaning.
Treated like that the print stays alive for years: what ages, if anything, is the cotton — the way it should on a shirt you actually wear.
For gigs, for town, or for keeping a small town in Washington burning a while longer.
