That is what is printed on this shirt, and it is printed in Italian. In English it reads: the music that makes you happy is the music that makes you cry. There is no language menu on this one — the Italian wording is the design, and it is what will arrive.

What the artwork is

A scuffed grey record sleeve with the line set across it in worn capitals, and a black vinyl half pulled out of the right-hand side. The label on the record reads Citazioni Rock — Rock Quotes, the series this shirt belongs to.

Under the line, where a sleeve would normally credit the author, it says Dal Web: “from the web”. Nobody knows who said it first. The credit is printed exactly as we found it rather than with an invented name attached, which is the only honest thing to do with a line that has been passed around for years.
